007:Licence to kiss?
"James Bond has a licence to kill, but in India it seems he doesn't have a licence to kiss" New 007 series movie "Specter" had been cut few seconds off by India country's censor board. They said the kissing scenes to be "unnecessarily long". However, Indians had taken to social media to ridicule the cuts.
In my opinion, there are many different cultures in the world and we should show our respect to each. From the news we may see India country's censor board as overreacting, but in India, kissing in the public is inappropriate.

Midterm

This week we were asked to finish a questionnaire as a midterm. I thought it really difficult and complicated at first, but I realized it is actually just noting down your way of learning. Okay, before 24:00 I successfully completed my questionnaire and sent it to TA already. Now I only have to print it out and I am free then.

Assignment 4

This week we were introduced a new website, ESL podcast. After a short browsing of the website and listened to the podcast for few minutes, I found it really interesting. There are thousands of podcasts you can choose from, moreover, they have been categorized into different topics such as relationship, business, daily life, etc. You can just click into the topic you like without spending a lot of time on searching the podcast you want. However, if you need the conversation script, you have to pay for it. There are two membership packages you can select, but honestly I won't take any one of them.
